Sunny Reehal developed an end-to-end judge-team matching and submissions system for the HackDavis/hackdavis-hub repository, focusing on scalable data handling and workflow reliability. Over two months, Sunny enhanced the matching algorithm to optimize for expertise and workload balance, modernized data structures, and implemented robust CSV export and bulk submission features. Using TypeScript, Node.js, and React, Sunny integrated backend and frontend improvements, including error handling, diagnostic tools, and UI refinements. The work addressed challenges in data integrity and maintainability, resulting in a more accurate, efficient, and user-friendly contest management pipeline that supports future scalability and streamlined judging operations.
