In June 2025, Sunya Ch worked on the kubernetes/enhancements repository, delivering improvements to Dynamic Resource Allocation by enabling consumable capacity and supporting multiple allocations of a single device across pods. This work, aligned with KEP 5075, enhanced resource scheduling flexibility and utilization for multi-tenant Kubernetes workloads, allowing for more predictable pod performance and efficient cluster management. Sunya implemented these changes using Go and YAML, applying expertise in API design, resource management, and scheduling. The engineering effort demonstrated a deep understanding of Kubernetes DRA internals and contributed to more adaptable resource allocation strategies without introducing major bug fixes during the period.
