Suparno Roy developed foundational frontend metrics configuration for the agarasia/SER516_Spring25_Teams_3_and_4_Frontend repository, enabling visualization and groundwork for per-metric toggling of analytics such as Halstead, Cyclomatic Complexity, and Code Coverage. Using TypeScript and YAML, Suparno implemented checkbox-based toggling logic and expanded the metrics available for display, improving the system’s flexibility and future extensibility. He addressed a startup issue by removing the linux/amd64 constraint in Docker Compose, ensuring reliable development across Linux environments. The work included planning for further UI integration and documenting remaining metrics, demonstrating a methodical approach to configuration management and frontend development within a collaborative workflow.

April 2025: Delivered foundational frontend metrics configuration with groundwork for per-metric toggling and visualization, expanding visibility to Halstead, Cyclomatic Complexity, Defects Over Time, Code Coverage, Fog Index, Code Churn, and FIFO. Fixed a startup issue by removing the linux/amd64 constraint in docker-compose and performing a small cleanup in metricsConfig.ts, enabling reliable Linux/dev environments. Also documented and planned further metric UI work by enumerating remaining metrics for page integration to guide collaboration and roadmap.
