Worked on restoring accessibility behavior for the Zoom Reset button in the storybookjs/storybook repository, focusing on front end development using React and JavaScript. Addressed a regression by reverting the button’s visibility handling from aria-hidden to the hidden attribute at the initial zoom level, ensuring that ARIA semantics remained consistent and preventing accessibility issues for users. Utilized Git for targeted version control, carefully tracing and applying the necessary changes to maintain repository integrity. The work demonstrated attention to accessibility standards and a methodical approach to bug resolution, leveraging CI/CD workflows and a strong understanding of modern web development practices.
