During May 2025, Suppal enhanced observability for the MCP integration in the microsoft/teams.ts repository by implementing comprehensive logging throughout the TypeScript codebase. Suppal introduced new logger instances to track tool fetching, function execution, plugin usage, and function calls, providing structured data for improved debugging and traceability. This work focused on strengthening monitoring and instrumentation rather than addressing specific bugs, laying a foundation for more reliable, data-driven maintenance.
