During July 2025, Surakuma focused on release engineering and packaging for the stackrox/operator-index repository, delivering the RHACS Operator 4.8.0 bundle. They established a new rhacs-4.8 release channel, streamlining installation and upgrade processes for customers by ensuring all previous bundles up to version 4.7.4 remained available for upgrade continuity. Surakuma’s work centered on Operator Lifecycle Management (OLM) and Kubernetes, leveraging yaml for precise configuration and packaging. The engineering effort addressed the need for reliable operator upgrades, providing a clear upgrade path and reducing friction for users. The work demonstrated depth in DevOps practices and operator release management.
