In the udfs repository, Surya stabilized utility function loading by pinning dependencies to specific commit hashes, ensuring reproducibility and reducing breakage from upstream changes. He reorganized the GOES_Globe_Animation UDF for clearer ownership and maintainability, and fixed integration tests by correcting default inputs. His work demonstrated strong backend development, code organization, and Python expertise, with careful attention to documentation and robust integration testing.
