Sushencev enhanced the reliability and extensibility of the retry mechanism in the razz-team/eva repository by refactoring the Retry class from sealed to abstract, enabling future extensions and greater flexibility. To improve observability and troubleshooting, Sushencev introduced exception-aware logging for Unit of Work retries, making error handling more transparent during debugging. The work also included updates to the CI and build configuration, ensuring that release versions incremented automatically with each feature delivery. Using Kotlin and focusing on build system configuration and logging, Sushencev delivered targeted improvements that addressed maintainability and release governance within a focused, one-month development period.
