
Worked on the apache/thrift repository to enhance the PHP library’s reliability and maintainability by modernizing its testing and code quality processes. Focused on expanding test coverage with comprehensive protocol and edge-case tests, while migrating existing tests to PHPUnit 10+ and adopting attribute-based syntax for improved compatibility. Integrated PHPStan static analysis into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring code quality issues are detected and addressed during pull requests. Raised the minimum supported PHP version to 8.1, removing deprecated features to streamline future maintenance. Leveraged PHP, YAML, and Docker, applying DevOps and backend development practices to deliver robust, future-ready improvements.
