During January 2026, Swan Smart enhanced the home-assistant/brands repository by designing and integrating custom SVG icons for the hivi_speaker model. Leveraging skills in graphic and icon design, Swan collaborated with engineering and design teams to ensure the new assets aligned with brand guidelines and seamlessly fit into the existing icon pipeline. The technical approach focused on asset integration within the UI, improving the visual clarity and brand recognition of the hivi_speaker across the application. While the work was limited in scope to a single feature, it addressed user ambiguity and contributed to a more consistent and recognizable user interface experience.
