Worked on the Azure/kwok repository to enhance deployment flexibility for Kubernetes clusters running on kind by enabling hostNetwork support within the Helm chart. This feature, implemented using YAML and Helm, allows teams to deploy kwok with host networking, addressing common networking challenges in CI/CD environments. The approach included updating documentation and default values to ensure clear adoption and correct usage of the new option. By focusing on a low-risk, targeted improvement, the work simplified testing workflows and laid the foundation for future networking enhancements, while maintaining stability and minimizing the risk of regressions in existing deployment processes.
