Worked on the bit-bots/bitbots_main repository, delivering 21 features and resolving 7 bugs over three months focused on robotics motion control, system reliability, and maintainability. Implemented quintic walking with phase management, integrated ONNX-based machine learning workflows, and refactored configuration and launch files for easier deployment. Enhanced safety through state-based kicking restrictions, improved emergency stop responsiveness, and introduced a pixi lock for resource synchronization. Upgraded Pixi.js for better rendering and tightened Python version constraints for reproducible deployments. Emphasized type safety and documentation, using Python, C++, and JavaScript to improve code quality, operator reliability, and deployment consistency across the robotics platform.
May 2026 monthly summary for bit-bots_main: Delivered a comprehensive development environment setup for Bit-Bots robotics software, including Docker configuration, deployment scripts, and task management for remote robot deployment. This work standardizes development workflows, improves onboarding, and accelerates remote deployment capabilities.

April 2026: Delivered end-to-end deployment automation for Bit-Bots software and overhauled the RL motion framework to use launch-based configuration, complemented by comprehensive code quality and documentation improvements. These changes reduced deployment friction, simplified configuration management, and improved maintainability and onboarding for the team. Highlights include automation of robot deployment steps (file synchronization, configuration, build, and launch on target robots), per-policy model configuration with a dedicated RL motion launch file and optional phases, and a broad cleanup of legacy code and dependencies with updated documentation and git hygiene.
