Syahmin contributed to the osmandapp/OsmAnd repository by enhancing Indonesian denomination localization, focusing on translating denomination strings to improve the app’s usability for Indonesian users. Using XML and leveraging Weblate for translation management, Syahmin delivered a feature that brought localization coverage to 97.9 percent, addressing a key need for broader market adoption in Indonesia. The work involved integrating new translations and refining the localization workflow, ensuring ongoing updates could be managed efficiently.
