Developed a production-ready Mobile Test Automation Boilerplate for the webdriverio/webdriverio repository, focusing on cross-platform testing for Android and iOS using WebdriverIO 9 and Appium. The solution featured a modular architecture in TypeScript, leveraging Cucumber for behavior-driven development and implementing the Page Object Model for maintainability. It included reusable utilities for mobile gestures, context switching, and logging, as well as robust reporting with Allure and Spec reporter. CI/CD integration was achieved through GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Docker, with comprehensive documentation to support adoption. This work accelerated mobile QA cycles and improved test coverage for automated mobile releases.
