Syhid developed a tappable foreground service notification for the moltbot/moltbot Android app, enabling users to launch the main activity directly from the notification and improving accessibility from background services. Using Kotlin and Android’s notification APIs, Syhid ensured seamless integration with the app’s existing foreground service architecture. In the openclaw/openclaw repository, Syhid addressed build output organization by customizing APK file naming in the Gradle Kotlin DSL, deriving names from version and build type to enhance release traceability. The work demonstrated a solid grasp of Android development, build configuration, and notification systems, delivering targeted improvements within a focused, one-month development period.
