During a focused month contributing to trezor/trezor-firmware, Szabolcs Lesisz addressed a persistent issue in the bridge transport layer by refining Python-based debugging session management. He implemented a targeted bug fix that leverages the device’s debugSession value to ensure the correct session ID is used during debugging, directly reducing session mismatches across devices. This work, rooted in Python development and debugging expertise, improved the reliability of developer workflows and supported more consistent device testing. Although the period did not include new feature development, Szabolcs delivered a well-scoped solution that enhanced the stability and efficiency of the project’s debugging infrastructure.
