Worked on the nix-community/home-manager repository to enhance localization by delivering Italian translations for both the Home Manager CLI and its Modules. Leveraged Gettext and i18n best practices within a Weblate-driven workflow to achieve full coverage of CLI strings and near-complete coverage for Modules, directly improving accessibility for Italian-speaking users. Managed translation updates through Git, collaborating with other contributors to ensure accuracy and maintainability. This effort reduced the localization backlog and established a sustainable process for ongoing translations, supporting broader adoption. The work demonstrated proficiency in localization pipelines, translation management, and collaborative workflows using Weblate and Git-based tools.
