Over a two-month period, contributed to the bettercodepaul/swt2-bsa-frontend and swt2-bsa-backend repositories by delivering an end-to-end ID generation workflow and improving code maintainability. Developed frontend features in Angular and TypeScript, including a UI for generating and displaying physical screen IDs, fullscreen navigation, and routing enhancements. On the backend, implemented a REST API endpoint for ID generation using Java and Spring Boot, accompanied by comprehensive unit tests to ensure reliability. Focused on code hygiene by removing unused imports and clarifying module boundaries, reducing technical debt and supporting future development. Addressed bugs and maintained consistent user experience through targeted testing.
