Worked on the is-a-dev/register repository to deliver a scalable user-site provisioning system for GitHub Pages, focusing on configuration management and data structure management using JSON. Developed a new JSON-based configuration that supports multiple hosting records by migrating from a single 'record' to a 'records' schema, enabling automated per-user hosting and easier scalability. Added owner metadata, including username and email, along with a CNAME entry to ensure consistent branding and streamlined onboarding for new user sites. The work involved two targeted commits, emphasizing schema migration and Git-based delivery, and resulted in reduced manual maintenance and more consistent hosting configurations.
