During October 2025, Tae Kim focused on improving repository hygiene for the ArcadeData/arcadedb project by updating the .gitignore configuration to exclude environment directories such as .venv and .vscode. This change, implemented using Git and configuration management skills, prevented environment and configuration files from being committed to the repository, thereby reducing clutter and minimizing potential merge conflicts. Tae’s work streamlined the onboarding process for new developers and promoted consistent Git hygiene across the project. While the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, the update contributed to a cleaner, more maintainable project structure.
