Worked on the appvia/appvia-cicd-workflows repository to enhance the security and reliability of GitHub Actions workflows by enforcing SHA-pinned reusable workflow references. Developed a validation workflow that automatically checks for proper SHA pinning and created a Bash script to audit repositories for compliance, focusing on governance and risk reduction in CI/CD pipelines. Updated the Node.js version in workflow configurations to v20 to maintain compatibility with commitlint and strengthen commit validation processes. Leveraged skills in CI/CD, DevOps, and scripting with Bash and YAML to deliver these improvements, concentrating efforts on maintainability rather than bug fixes during the period.
