During August 2025, Shubhamsaboo expanded unit test coverage for core utility functions in the trigger.dev repository, focusing on assertExhaustive, tryCatch, and promiseWithResolvers. By developing comprehensive tests in TypeScript and JavaScript, Shubhamsaboo validated promise resolution, rejection handling, and deferred promise creation across a range of asynchronous scenarios. The work emphasized deterministic behavior under edge cases, strengthening quality gates and increasing confidence in the reliability of these utilities. This approach enabled early detection of incorrect promise handling and error propagation, reducing risk for future feature development and improving overall code quality. The work demonstrated depth in Node.js testing practices.
