During March 2025, Jeremiah focused on enhancing the health data integrity of the meshtastic-matrix-relay repository. He addressed two critical bugs in the Health Plugin by implementing robust data filtering and processing techniques using Python. Specifically, Jeremiah filtered out None values from both the SNR and air_util_tx data lists, which reduced the risk of incorrect health metrics and prevented downstream processing errors. His backend development work strengthened the resilience of the health module against malformed telemetry, ensuring more reliable deployments. The changes were carefully designed to improve defensive data handling while maintaining performance, demonstrating thoughtful attention to data quality and system reliability.
