Worked on the trueforge-org/truecharts repository to address a deployment issue with the Guacamole Duo integration. Delivered a targeted bugfix by updating Helm chart templates and values, ensuring that new environment variable names for client ID, client secret, and redirect URI were correctly reflected. This change aligned the deployment process with Duo’s updated conventions and reduced failures related to environment variable mismatches. The solution involved editing YAML configuration files and incrementing the Guacamole chart version to propagate the fix downstream. Focused on reliability and security, the work demonstrated careful use of DevOps practices and Helm for streamlined, low-risk deployment updates.
