Worked on the riscv/riscv-cheri repository to enhance documentation by standardizing the use of the term "valid capability" throughout the CHERI architecture docs. Focused on improving clarity and reducing ambiguity, the update replaced inconsistent terminology, making the documentation more accessible for developers integrating CHERI components. The work involved technical writing and terminology governance, utilizing adoc for documentation updates and version-control best practices to ensure precise changes. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the targeted documentation improvement facilitated onboarding and minimized the risk of misinterpretation, contributing to the maintainability and accuracy of the project’s technical resources.
