Tariq focused on improving documentation quality for the riscv/riscv-cheri repository by standardizing terminology related to CHERI capabilities. He delivered a targeted update that replaced all instances of "tagged capability" with "valid capability," ensuring consistency and reducing ambiguity throughout the architecture documentation. This work involved careful technical writing and terminology governance, using adoc markup to maintain formatting standards. By clarifying key concepts, Tariq’s contribution enhanced the maintainability of the documentation and made onboarding easier for new developers. Although the scope was limited to documentation, the update addressed a real need for precision in technical communication within the project.
