Worked on the FRBs/FRB repository to enhance data accessibility and user experience for Pan-STARRS database users. Delivered a backend feature in Python that enabled photometric redshifts by default in the Pan_STARRS_Survey.get_catalog method, streamlining catalog queries and improving usability. Addressed authentication reliability by refining error handling, specifically updating IOError responses to guide users on setting environment variables or adjusting the photoz parameter. Focused on backend development, environment variable management, and robust error handling, the work emphasized clear user guidance and maintainable code.
