During December 2025, contributed to the nominal-io/nominal-client repository by delivering an API enhancement focused on hierarchical dataset management. Developed and integrated a new prefix_tree_delimiter parameter within the get_or_create_dataset method, enabling more flexible and scalable creation of datasets with complex structures. This work involved backend development and data management using Python, ensuring that the updated API contract supports advanced workflows for hierarchical data. Collaborated closely with another team member to co-author commits, emphasizing code quality and maintainability. The enhancement improved the reliability and adaptability of dataset creation pipelines, laying groundwork for future extensions in hierarchical data operations.
