
Developed and delivered an automated Fraud Metrics Report Generation and Distribution feature for the 18F/identity-idp repository, focusing on streamlining the reporting process for fraud metrics. The solution enabled scheduled generation of reports, automated email distribution to stakeholders, and archival to AWS S3, reducing manual effort and improving data accessibility. The implementation involved back end development in Ruby, with comprehensive updates to the reporting and job modules. RSpec was used to expand test coverage and ensure reliability, including targeted fixes to existing tests. These enhancements improved data quality, traceability, and production readiness, supporting more efficient and reliable reporting workflows.
