Worked on the asuc-octo/berkeleytime repository to enhance local development stability and deployment reliability. Introduced Docker Compose profiles, allowing developers to selectively activate services and reduce resource consumption during local setup. Improved Nginx configuration to prevent routing loops when certain services are inactive, which increased startup consistency and reliability. Updated developer documentation written in Markdown to clearly explain the new profiling workflows and best practices, supporting smoother onboarding and ongoing maintenance. All changes were linked to a specific commit for traceability. The work demonstrated practical use of Docker, Nginx configuration, and YAML, focusing on maintainable and resource-efficient development environments.
