Worked on the opentensor/subtensor repository to enhance staking event observability by introducing the actual_fee parameter to both StakeAdded and StakeRemoved events. Leveraging expertise in Rust, Substrate, and blockchain development, implemented changes that updated event logs to include precise fee data across staking operations. This technical approach improved the visibility and auditability of staking fees, enabling more accurate fee reconciliation and supporting downstream analytics and regulatory compliance. The work focused on delivering a single targeted feature, demonstrating depth in blockchain event engineering and a clear understanding of the requirements for transparent governance reporting within decentralized systems built on Substrate.
