During October 2025, Tom Bowers focused on restoring and stabilizing continuous integration workflows for the pypeit/PypeIt repository. He addressed a critical gap in test coverage by reverting a temporary skip of astropydev tests, thereby re-enabling comprehensive end-to-end validation across all dependencies. Using his expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, and testing, Tom reinforced YAML-based configuration files to ensure reliable and consistent test execution. This work improved early detection of integration issues and reduced flaky results, supporting smoother development and release cycles. Although the period involved no new features, his targeted bug fix enhanced the repository’s overall quality and release readiness.
