Worked on enhancing the unwrapping cache in the Cosmian/kms repository, focusing on security and maintainability for key unwrapping operations. Leveraged Rust and asynchronous programming to internalize fingerprint checks and implement a SipHash seeding strategy, ensuring that unwrapped objects are validated against their fingerprints for improved cache integrity. Addressed interface inconsistencies and resolved Clippy lint warnings, contributing to cleaner, more maintainable code. The work consolidated security and reliability improvements in the unwrapping path, reducing the risk of invalid objects and strengthening the overall security posture. Demonstrated strong backend development and database management skills throughout the feature implementation process.
