Worked on the ovh/terraform-provider-ovh repository to optimize IP resource handling and improve the reliability of IP move functionality. Refactored backend Go code to eliminate unnecessary API calls, streamline task orchestration, and remove obsolete retry logic, resulting in a more maintainable and predictable IP management subsystem. Enhanced error handling and clarified string pointer comparisons, contributing to clearer and more robust backend processes. Focused on API integration and backend development, the work delivered a simpler and more efficient approach to managing IP resources. These changes improved code quality and maintainability, aligning the subsystem with best practices in Go-based infrastructure automation.
