Worked on the gtiosclub/StudyBuddy repository to establish the foundational architecture for an iOS study app, focusing on scalable project setup and robust data management. Delivered the initial app scaffold using Swift and Xcode, implementing an MVVM-oriented structure with clear separation of models, views, and view models to streamline future development. Developed core data models for Study Sets, Flashcards, and Users, and integrated Firebase Firestore to enable persistent, cross-device study data storage. This groundwork reduced onboarding time, improved maintainability, and positioned the codebase for rapid feature delivery, aligning with best practices in iOS development, data modeling, and project management.
March 2025 — Established the data backbone for StudyBuddy, enabling scalable study data management and cross-device persistence. Delivered foundational data models for Study Sets, Flashcards, and Users, plus initial Firestore integration to persist study data, setting the stage for future features like user progress and study analytics. This groundwork reduces technical debt and accelerates feature delivery while aligning with MVVM and Firebase best practices.
