The update advanced CorrelationPlus to version 0.2.3, introducing run_exports to stabilize downstream dependency handling and updating the SHA256 checksum to strengthen build integrity. Setuptools was added as a build requirement to ensure consistent build environments across platforms. Leveraging Python development skills and expertise in package and dependency management, the work addressed common issues with dependency conflicts and build verification, resulting in a more robust and reliable packaging process for the CorrelationPlus tool within the bioconda ecosystem.
