During May 2025, Tennis Onyu focused on stabilizing Helm-based deployment hooks within the community-tooling/charts repository. Addressing a deployment limitation, Tennis resolved the handling of multiple job definitions in Helm hooks by inserting a YAML document separator into hooks.yaml, enabling support for multiple jobs in a single release. This fix was surfaced through a version bump from 8.1.1 to 8.1.2, aligning with established release practices. The work demonstrated practical application of DevOps principles and Helm expertise, with careful attention to YAML syntax and release management. While the period involved no new features, the targeted bug fix improved deployment reliability and process consistency.
