Worked on the adobe/spacecat-shared repository to stabilize backend integration with the AEM Content API, focusing on maintaining reliable API interactions as AMS deprecated experimental endpoints. Addressed a critical bug by migrating API calls from an unstable experimental path to the stable '/adobe/pages' endpoint, ensuring continued compatibility and reducing the risk of production outages. The solution was implemented in JavaScript, leveraging backend development and API integration skills. Accompanying updates included revising automated tests and documentation to reflect the new endpoint, supporting future migrations and minimizing disruption. The work prioritized minimal code changes while maintaining robust, well-documented backend functionality.
