Worked on the louislam/uptime-kuma repository to enhance the reliability and correctness of monitoring checks, focusing on backend development using JavaScript. Addressed a critical issue by fixing the isParentActive function to consistently return a boolean, which improved the accuracy of parent activity assessments and reduced the risk of false alerts. No new features were introduced during this period, as the primary goal was to stabilize and maintain the existing codebase. Demonstrated strong Git workflow and code review practices, ensuring that the bug fix was thoroughly tested and integrated smoothly. The work contributed to a more robust and dependable monitoring system.
