Worked on the workos-python repository to expand authentication provider support by integrating Slack as a new authentication option. Focused on backend development using Python, the work involved updating the API integration to include Slack in the authorization URL, which enabled Slack-based login and improved the accuracy of provider listings. This enhancement addressed provider resolution issues and streamlined the single sign-on experience for users leveraging Slack. The implementation required careful adjustment of the provider discovery flow to ensure Slack was recognized as a valid authentication method. Collaboration with other contributors was reflected through co-authored commits, demonstrating a team-oriented development approach.
