Developed a configurable Elasticsearch integration for the nextcloud/all-in-one repository, focusing on enabling environment-variable-based connection settings for port, user, and index. This work replaced hard-coded configuration with a centralized, flexible approach, allowing deployments to adapt full-text search capabilities to a variety of Elasticsearch environments. Leveraging skills in configuration management, containerization, and DevOps, the solution was implemented using Shell and YAML to streamline deployment and maintenance. By supporting diverse deployment scenarios and reducing friction in configuration, the integration improved search reliability and scalability, laying the groundwork for more robust and maintainable search functionality across multiple environments and customer use cases.
