Worked on the thunlp/SIR-Bench repository to deliver a feature improving installation reliability for OpenCompass. Addressed issues with optional dependency quoting by updating installation instructions in Markdown, ensuring that users can install opencompass[api] and opencompass[full] packages consistently across different shell environments. This technical approach removed shell interpretation errors, streamlining onboarding and enhancing reproducibility for new users. The work focused on clear documentation practices and careful attention to cross-shell compatibility, with all changes tracked through a dedicated pull request and commit. Demonstrated proficiency in documentation and Markdown, emphasizing precision and user experience in open-source software installation processes.
