Worked on centralized build and observability enhancements across Unity-Technologies/data-envoyproxy and envoyproxy/envoy-openssl. In data-envoyproxy, consolidated the compilation database refresh workflow by moving logic into a CI script, updating pre-push hooks, and revising documentation to streamline developer experience and reduce maintenance overhead. For envoy-openssl, implemented OpenTelemetry TraceIDRatioBased and ParentBased samplers, introducing new Protocol Buffers definitions, C++ sources, and build configurations to enable granular trace sampling and improve observability in TLS workloads. Leveraged skills in C++, scripting, CI/CD, and distributed tracing, focusing on maintainable, auditable solutions that improve workflow consistency and traceability across complex build environments.
