Worked on reliability improvements for the moltbot/moltbot repository, focusing on a critical bug fix to ensure correct API URL construction for self-hosted ClawHub instances deployed under a subpath. Addressed the issue by updating the URL joining logic in TypeScript, preserving the base path prefix during API requests. Enhanced code quality by adding targeted regression tests using Node.js and comprehensive documentation updates, ensuring future maintainability. The solution underwent thorough validation, including code review and automated checks, before being merged. This work strengthened API development practices and improved deployment flexibility, with a focus on robust testing and clear changelog communication throughout the process.
