During August 2025, contributed to both the kuzudb/kuzu and tursodatabase/turso repositories by delivering four new features focused on database durability, analytics, editor usability, and performance testing. Enhanced data integrity in kuzudb/kuzu by implementing durable WAL synchronization using Rust and C++, ensuring WAL data is safely persisted on replay. In Turso, added foundational ANALYZE command support and improved SQL syntax highlighting for ANALYZE and EXPLAIN keywords, leveraging SQL parsing and text editor configuration skills. Updated performance benchmark documentation to streamline TPC-H testing workflows. Work demonstrated depth in system programming, compiler development, and database internals, emphasizing maintainability and reliability.
