Worked on enhancing the MobilityData/mobility-database-catalogs repository by upgrading the Nuup Bussii GTFS feed’s reliability and geospatial context. Addressed a dead feed URL by integrating a working GitHub-hosted GTFS feed, ensuring uninterrupted data access for downstream applications. Added bounding box coordinates to the feed, enabling location-aware queries and supporting geospatial analysis. Validated the feed’s structure, which included five routes, 240 trips, and 77 stops, to maintain data integrity. Utilized skills in API integration, data management, and geospatial analysis, primarily working with JSON data formats. The update improved data quality and usability for partners relying on Nuup Bussii transit information.
