In November 2025, Wei Yang focused on enhancing code formatting governance for the levizh/rt-thread repository. He implemented repository-level formatting control by introducing .clang-format-ignore files, allowing selective exclusion of specific files and directories from clang-format checks. This approach, applied to the bsp/nxp path, leveraged YAML for configuration and emphasized build system configuration and code formatting skills. The solution reduced unnecessary formatting changes, improved code review efficiency, and increased CI reliability.
