Worked on the vanniktech/gradle-maven-publish-plugin repository to deliver a feature enhancing deployment observability and traceability. Focused on backend development using Kotlin, the work introduced logging of deployment IDs and publishing types after uploads to the Central Portal, enabling end-to-end traceability and supporting faster debugging. The technical approach centered on logging instrumentation and workflow integration, improving auditability and deployment lineage clarity. No major bugs were addressed during this period, but minor stability and code quality improvements were made. The contribution demonstrated skills in Gradle plugin development, backend workflow instrumentation, and the application of logging best practices to support maintainability.
