Worked on the quokka-astro/quokka repository to enhance data integrity within the quokka data pipeline by updating the fextract function to ensure outputs are consistently sorted by coordinate. This targeted patch, implemented in C++ with a focus on algorithm design and data processing, standardized the ordering of position and data vectors, which improved reproducibility and reliability for downstream analytics. The work was closely aligned with related pull requests to maintain consistency across the codebase and facilitate robust testing.
