Tibebe Demissie delivered Linux ARM64 support for the schneems/pack repository’s Homebrew package, expanding its platform compatibility. He updated the CI/CD delivery workflow to fetch the correct linux-arm64 artifact and revised the Homebrew formula to include the appropriate download URL and SHA256 checksum. This work, implemented using Ruby and YAML, enabled seamless installation for linux-arm64 users and reduced setup friction. By focusing on DevOps practices and Homebrew packaging, Tibebe improved the cross-platform packaging workflow, making the package more accessible and easier to maintain. The depth of the work addressed both technical integration and user experience for broader adoption.
