During February 2026, Thibault Barske enhanced the backup agent framework within the ovh/manager repository by introducing a customizable query client and refactoring data fetching to leverage React Query hooks for baremetal and vault data. This work, implemented using TypeScript and React, focused on improving the reliability and testability of the backup agent. By consolidating data management and enabling flexible test utilities, Thibault’s changes streamlined the testing process and reduced the likelihood of flaky tests.
